Data Updates
To update existing voter data (e.g., new phone numbers from updated voter file):
- Prepare a CSV with the unique_id and fields to update
- Import normally - existing records update, new ones are created
- Canvass results and notes are preserved
Only include columns you want to update. Empty cells won't overwrite existing data.
Backup
Regularly export your data as a backup:
- Export "All Voters" with all fields
- Save the file with a date in the filename
- Store securely according to data policies
